ANTIQUE COALING SHOVELS

Have 2 Extremely Rare Coaling Shovels with D handles.

Both are #8 size with tapered point. All original!

These shovels are equal in size to a standard grain shovel.

Made by "The Wood Shovel & Tool Co." of Piqua, OH., which was considered the "Tiffany of the Shovel Industry"!

1st. Shovel: Has the very unique "Metal & Wood Handle" which was patented by W.W. Wood in 1932. Measurements: Blade -13"W x 17"L. Overall length is 40".

2nd. Shovel: Has a metal handle with wood insert. Measurements: Blade- 13"W x 17"L. Overal length is 43".

These shovels are in very good condition and solid.
