High-End Custom Bolt Pattern! Bix 'N Andy, Graboe, Mack Bros.
Perhaps a Bisman user has been jonesing for a custom rifle but just doesn't know where to start, or the sourcing of all of the individual components has left them with their head spinning.
After quite a bit of soul searching- I am going to throw in the towel on the custom. I had it built 3 years ago in a rather odd caliber. It killed a great muley for me, but failed to impress this year.
Components:
Mack Bros. Evo 2 Long action- Stainless, .473 bolt face
Hankins Obendorf BM
Graboe Outlander- action has been professionally bedded to the stock. Absolutely amazing fit.
B'N A Dakota Trigger
These components alone cost right at $1400
Asking: Make an offer. I realize I am taking a loss- but I am not going to jump at $800.
The options I am faced with- either throw more money at it for a caliber that I really don't need with a safe full of hunting rifles in long action, or just cut the losses altogether and put it out the door.
I am opting for the second. The paperwork for the thread pattern will be included so your gunsmith can screw on a new tube.
Should I not sell it in a week, it will go into the safe until there is a need/want for a long action- something akin to a 280 AI or the like.
I am not really looking for any trades, this is a cash-only proposition. Should the buyer desire I can include the barrel and even reinstall it- but as I mentioned previously, it is in a funky caliber.
