Originally this was a 390 with a 3-speed overdrive transmission, it now has a FE427 built by a NASCAR engine builder, has a hydraulic roller cam, NASCAR dual 4 bbl intake manifold with 2 Holly sniper throttle bodies, factory cast iron headers, cylinder pressure in each cylinder is between 200-220 lbs, oil pressure stays at 70 lbs when driving it. The distributer is computer controlled, and the car is tuned to run on 91 octane with a little octane boost. Car has a new clutch and a new Tremec TKX 5 speed with a .069 overdrive gear. It has a narrowed Ford 9" rear end with 4.10-1 gears. The rear tires are Hoosier 31x18.5x15 street radials, these have about 3,500 miles on them. Driving this car on the highway your running 2350 rpms at 75 mph. Driving it carefully you will get 13-14 mpg on the highway. I have put over 6,000 miles on it since we installed the fuel injection, the clutch, the transmission and shifter, and we updated the instrument cluster with a Dakota Digital analog instrument cluster. I also have a Dakota Digital cruise control that's brand new, that's not installed that will go with the car. I've owned this car for 4 years and I have not raced it. I'm guessing it was painted about 20 years ago and still shines brightly with NO RUST BUBBLES ANYWHERE! It does have a few chips on door edges and the driver's door needs some alignment. The black paint is the original color, and the red and white interior is the original colors. I also installed new carpet. No holes, rips, or tears in the interior. Car has an 18-gallon fuel cell in the trunk. I have a brand-new set of Starliner rubber floor mats, If you are at all interested in this car call me and lets see if we can work out a fair deal for both of us! Car has had a recent oil change, and the outside has been detailed. (Pictures are from after the detailing).
