WAREHOUSE WORKER

Pahlke Steel, Inc. has immediate openings in our steel warehouse. We are currently seeking an individual with the ability to load and unload material safely and efficiently. Some unloading is done with the use of an overhead crane. Other various warehouse tasks will be performed and requires being on your feet for long periods of time & lifting heavy items. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

Must possess valid drivers license and be able to get to work early.

Capability to lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis

Ability to operate & read measurement devices tape measure specifically.

Basic math skills are required.

Ability to learn to safely operate the following machinery: walking crane, forklift, wheel loader

Inventory and previous shipping/receiving experience is a plus!

Deadline-oriented, dependable, punctual, own an alarm clock, strong communication skills, receptive to supervision, ability to build and keep client relationships

High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Some experience in working with steel products preferred.

Most positions in our steel shop require moderate to heavy lifting and can be physically demanding. Must be able to work overtime as required.
