HYGROMETER

The hygrometer registers relative humidity, the amount of moisture in the air relative to the maximum possible for the air to hold at the same temperature.

THERMOMETER

A thermometer is designed to indicate temperature in the immediate vicinity in which it is hung or mounted.

It is most important that this instrument be installed where it will not be affected by direct rays of the sun, a radiator or other artificial heating device.
