1999 GMC Yukon SLT 4WD

Has the 5.7 engine with 236,300 miles. I have owned it since July 2022. 4WD works. Power windows and locks work. The rear end was rebuilt in December 2022 by Patriot Auto in Williston, spark plugs replaced in May 2023, new battery, alternator, and front pads, calipers and rotors in August 2023.

The service engine soon light has been on for as long as I can remember. It has a lot of rust on the rear quarter panels and barn doors. The wheels are pitted and it needs new tires. My plan was to find some used 6 lug Gm wheels on marketplace rather than put new tires on the wheels that are on it. The heat works good but it only blows out of the defrost vents. It needs a new mode door actuator, which is near the gas pedal, and possibly hvac control module located under the stereo and I think it would fix it. None of the linkage is broken and you can reach down and turn it manually. The fan speed and temperature knobs on the control module still work though. It didnt bother me so I didnt worry about it. The volume knob on the stereo quit working one day but the remote works to change the volume. The fuel gauge jumps around a lot and isnt accurate so i just used the trip odometer.

I mostly used it around town but I have driven it to Minot a few times and to Washington the last two summers. The oil was changed regularly but it needs a coolant flush. I got a new vehicle 3 months ago and dont need it anymore and its taking up space in the driveway.
